Baharat means spice/spices in Arabic. With its combination of warming and piquant spices, baharat gives a peppery and aromatic flavor to lamb and chicken dishes. It’s a little hotter than Ras el Hanout as it contains hot paprika. Many people like baharat as it doesn’t contain any salt.
Ingredients: Paprika (hot), black pepper, coriander,
cloves, cumin, cinnamon, ginger, allspice, cardamom.
