The critical ingredient in an authentic Butter Chicken is kasoori methi (fenugreek leaves). Butter chicken is part of the Mughlai cuisine and has been strongly influenced by Persian and Turkic cuisines of Central Asia. Butter Chicken was only created in the 1950’s at the Moti Mahal restaurant in Delhi.
All dinner packs contain the correct amount of spices for a meal for four people and contain a shopping list and full recipe. The chilli comes in a seperate pack for heat as desired.
