This is an ideal spice rub for meat, with gentle herbal flavours. You can also
 use it in gumbo. It has the fresh herbal  flavours of oregano, thyme, and basil, the earthy taste of bay leaves, the sweetness of allspice berries, with the more robust addition of paprika, garlic, and a touch of salt and pepper.
