Creamy, mildly spicy, coconut based slow cooked curry. This classic Thai dish works equally well with either chicken, beef, lamb or goat.  Top with chopped peanuts and sliced spring onions.

This divine curry is said to have either originated in central Thailand in the cosmopolitan court of Ayutthaya in the 16th century, through a Persian envoy and trader, or in the south with its contacts with Arab traders. This curry was even mentioned in a love poem written by a prince to the lady of the court!

All our dinner packs contain enough spices for a meal for four people and contain a shopping list and full recipe.  The chilli comes in a seperate pack for heat as desired.

 

Ingredients: roasted coconut, cloves, cardamoim, garlic, cumin, coriander, lemongrass, ginger, amchur (dried green mango), sugar, chilli, bay eaves, cinnamon stick.
